- San Juan Del Sur is a surfer's paradise and don't miss Sunday Funday with PachaMama and Naked Tiger.... It's insane!!
- Leon's Museums, Architecture, and Catholic Cathedrals. Also there's a great street food setup in the evenings in front of the Main Square Catholic Church
- The police are crooked and will try to take you for some money. If they do, the fees paid are generally under 20 dollars US for most offenses.
- The street food in Managua is great! On the "Blvd" you can find every type of food truck/stand you would want and it's CHEAP!
- Go to Ometepe for a chilled out hippie-vibe and beautiful volcanic/jungle surroundings. You can even ferry your car over.
- Nicaraguan Rodeo in San Juan Del Sur. It's probably one of the strangest experiences we've had.
- Go to Nicaragua now. In 15 years it will be expensive and over-run by tourists like Costa Rica. Everyone says Nica is Costa Rica 20 years ago.
- We hear the Little Corn Islands, albeit remote, has some incredible scuba diving and Caribbean beauty. We haven't been.... YET.
